Introducing VerraPak: the next chapter in our story

For many years, Sineo Packaging has manufactured packaging for businesses across the UAE. During that time, the business itself has evolved: our capabilities have developed, the customers and sectors we serve have grown, and our ambitions for the future have become clearer. VerraPak is the result of that evolution.

The new name and identity mark an important next step for the business, but this was never intended to be a cosmetic rebrand. It began with a more fundamental question about the role we want to play for our customers and the kind of business we want VerraPak to become.

The answer shaped both the brand and our new proposition: bringing greater confidence to packaging decisions.

Customers come to us because they need packaging, but the value we can provide goes beyond producing an individual item. The better we understand what they are trying to achieve, the better placed we are to help them arrive at a solution that works for their product, operation and brand. VerraPak gives us a clearer way to express that role.

Building on strong foundations

A rebrand can sometimes suggest that everything which came before it is being left behind. That is not the case here.

The foundations of VerraPak are the strengths developed through Sineo: our UAE manufacturing base, production experience, technical knowledge, long-standing customer relationships and the people who understand both the products we make and the businesses we make them for.

What has changed is the way we are bringing those capabilities together. VerraPak creates a more focused identity for the business and a clearer articulation of where we can add value, whether through manufacturing expertise, customisation, advanced printing, responsible packaging choices or simply a more informed conversation around the right solution.

The intention is not to become something unrecognisable. It is to become clearer about what we already do well and more ambitious about where we take the business next.

A more customer-led proposition

Packaging manufacturing is, by nature, highly operational. Specifications, materials, production runs and timelines matter enormously, and they always will. But customers experience the relationship more broadly than that.

They want clarity, responsiveness and confidence that the product will perform as expected. They also want to know that the business supporting them understands the context in which that packaging will be used and can adapt as requirements change.

That thinking has influenced how we have shaped VerraPak.

Our proposition is deliberately centred on confidence because that is ultimately what a good packaging relationship should create: confidence in quality, consistency, advice and the ability to find the right solution as a business evolves.

Manufacturing remains at the core of VerraPak, but our offer extends across a broader range of customer needs. That includes customisation and advanced printing capabilities that help packaging support a brand more effectively, as well as a growing range of responsible packaging options for customers looking to make more considered choices.

Our role is to bring those considerations together without making the decision unnecessarily complicated.

Growing with the market around us

The timing of the rebrand also reflects the environment in which VerraPak is operating.

The UAE’s food, hospitality and consumer sectors continue to develop, bringing new businesses into the market and creating new opportunities for established ones. As those businesses grow, their packaging requirements become more varied and, in many cases, more sophisticated.

We see considerable opportunity in being part of that growth.

Our manufacturing base in Dubai gives us the advantage of operating close to the market and close to our customers, while our experience gives us a strong platform from which to continue developing our capabilities.

We also want VerraPak to play a more visible role within the wider food community. Packaging is connected to how products are made, moved, sold and experienced, and we believe there is value in understanding that wider ecosystem rather than viewing our role in isolation.

Progress within our own business

The next chapter for VerraPak is also about how we continue to improve the business itself.

That includes the way we manufacture, the capabilities we invest in and the choices we make around our own operations.

At our Dubai manufacturing facility, solar generation now powers factory machinery throughout the 12-hour daytime production shift, helping to reduce reliance on grid electricity during production hours. It is one practical example of the progress already taking place within the business and of the approach we want to continue: measured improvements that strengthen the way we operate over time.

VerraPak is not intended to signal that the work is complete. It signals a clearer direction for what comes next.
